What has God purposed in your heart? What is your destiny? A lot of us don’t have an answer to that question. The time for you to operate in your destiny (what you are destined to become or do), is quickly becoming past due.

Many of us seek God for our purpose in life. In addition, we make it seem so complicated. We fast and we pray, and we go through trials and errors. However, finding our purposes does not have to be as difficult as we make it out to be. Our time and prayers are often wasted on asking God what our purposes are. This is because God has given us the answer to this question before we’ve even asked him. He has even given us the resources to make our dreams

Consider this scripture: Philippians 2:13 (New Living Translation) – For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. What does this mean? It’s simple, It’s in you! If there is something in your life that you have a passion for (a hunger, thirst or desire); something that you love doing, it was God who put that desire there! In our prayers, we should be asking God how our passions, gifts, and desires can be put to His use. Dedicate your time to learning and mastering that thing you love; this way, you can use it appropriately, effectively, and to God’s glory.

For those of you who are confused about your purpose, ask yourself this: What am I passionate about? What things do I enjoy and do well? If you still have trouble, ask your family members and close friends. They are certainly aware of your strengths and weaknesses. Then, ask God how He can utilize you gift to benefit His kingdom and please Him. Remember, “Commit your actions to the Lord, and you will succeed.” (Proverbs 16:3) This is what God is speaking to you. Remain in His favor.
