Artist Spotlight: The Heart Locker Project

Look Up Radio | #1 Christian Contemporary and Gospel Radio Station | Artist Spotlight: The Heart Locker Project

The Heartlocker Project (HLP) is a Christian pop rock band started in Philadelphia, PA in 2012. The Heartlocker Project began in memory of band member Joshua Luciano’s father who passed away in 2012 of cancer. Luciano decided to honor his father’s memory by using his music to make a difference in the community. He teamed up with fellow musicians Anthony Diaz, Jose Gonzalez, and Joshua Sanchez to see how they could all work together and soon after the Heartlocker Project was born. The band, which is strongly rooted in faith-based music, also pulls its musical influences from artist such as Andy Grammar, Coldplay, and Maroon 5. Equipped with the smooth vocals of Anthony Diaz, the band is set to make a difference on and off the stage through the creation of its inspirational music.

HLP is not just a band, but a movement. They are currently working on their first project titled “White Flag.” The proceeds from this album will fund Cancer Research. As the band continues to grow and expand its grasp in the community they will be working with several other organizations to raise awareness for similar causes. With each album they produce a portion of the proceeds will be directed to individual causes that effect our society today.
