Who Is Bryan Pound?

Look Up Radio | #1 Christian Contemporary and Gospel Radio Station | Who Is Bryan Pound?

Haven’t heard of Bryan Pound?  No problem.  Get to know him. I guarantee you’ll be pleasantly surprised.  The son of a preacher and hailing from Richmond, VA, Bryan has a passion for worship, music and diversity.  I am thankful to have had the opportunity to interview him after an amazing opening performance at Bubby Fann & Praise Beyond’s CD release concert in Camden, NJ.  Bryan is very humble, down to earth, just a great guy to hang out with.  However, you wouldn’t believe the voice that emanates from this young guy.  In 2011, Bryan released his debut album Reality that was 8 years in the making.  Listen to my interview with him…

Bryan’s bio:

In January of 2011, Bryan Pound fulfilled his God-given dream of releasing his long awaited first CD, Reality. For over 9 years he has served as the Minister of Music at the Pentecostals of Richmond in Richmond, VA. After the CD’s release many great opportunities have come his way. Sheila Belle (author of The Belle Report), has been playing “Smile” and “God Is Love” on PRAISE 104.7. Since then other radio stations have been catching on.

He performed for a crowd of nearly 18,000 people in Columbus, OH at the North American Youth Congress. He was also asked to perform at Richmond’s Annual Gospel Fest with The Belle co-hosted by Dr. Bobby Jones. He also performed at Washington DC’s “The H Street Festival, where over 30,000 people attended.

Last year Bryan won a 5 city, fully paid European Kingdom Tour sponsored by Gospel Impact Radio. He toured Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. He was asked to sing along with Joakim Arenius and Praise Unit on one of their songs, My Father. They enjoyed his version and asked him to solo on their new recording of the same song. While he was on tour he was interviewed by a Christian news paper in Orebro, Sweden and by a radio station in Switzerland.

This year, the Louisianna Allstate Youth Choir will be recording his song Find Rest, and has asked him to be a guest soloist. He has also been invited again to perform at Richmond’s Annual Gospel Fest with Sheila Belle.
