Be Strong In The Lord And His Power

The apostle Paul knew what it felt like to be a sinner, being born again by the receiving of the Holy Spirit, like all of us. But what Paul found out early on that he shared with the many churches and especially us today, that we must put on the whole armour of God every time we wake to see another day.

Paul starts of by telling his listening audience, “be strong in The Lord and the power of His might.” Whatever obstacles you are facing this morning, are you believing in the power of the Almighty to get you past these circumstances?

He goes on to mention, “put on the whole armor of God so you can withstand the whiles of the devil.” Without this armour we can not go through the day securely. This vision that Paul speaks about resembles a soldier heading on the battlefield without any ammunition or protective gear. He is exposed and vulnerable to being attacked by the enemy.

Beloved, it may be hard to bare what you are going through but remember the promises of The Lord. He promised to protect us with his armour. God promised to guide our feet with His light of the world in Jesus Christ.

We have the word of the living God as our armour, shield, sword, head gear, belt and more. We are equipped for battle with Jesus leading the way.

He promised us. Just believe.
