Andrae Crouch has died at 72

Look Up Radio has learned that gospel legend, Andrae Crouch, has passed away at age 72 on Thursday, January 8, 2015.  Crouch, a 7 time Grammy awards winner and 6 time Dove Award winner,  had been hospitalized in late 2014 due to failing health which led to the postponing of his Tribute Tour for March 2015.

Crouch has been a major staple and pioneer in Gospel & Christian music who is most known for penning song like “My Tribute”, “The Blood Will Never Lose It’s Power” and “Soon and Very Soon”.  He has influence many other gospel artists like Tremaine Hawkins, The Clark Sisters & Israel Houghton.
