Patience In The Middle Of The Storm

Do you ever notice as soon as your eyes become open in the mornings you are quickly greeted by life’s problems? The scripture tells us when we put our trust in the Lord no weapons formed against us will prosper.

God didn’t tell us that there wouldn’t be any weapons, He only promised that with your faith and your trust these weapons will not prosper.

What are you facing today that requires your patience in the Lord? No having a job? Rocky relationship that is heading nowhere? Financial debt that keeps you up all night?

If you are always looking at your problems, meditating on them, feeling sorry for yourself, telling everybody about them, you will become consumed by them. But when you look up, your life will start to move up.

The apostle Paul reminds us that when we choose to look above we will find the things that will make us progress in life to new heights through Christ.(Colossians 3: 1-2) But when we choose to look around then the things that consume us will be a major plague in our lives.

What are you choosing to look at as you start your day?

Faith is what gets God’s attention. When you have an attitude of faith and expectancy, you open the door for His power in your life.
