[Watch] Travis Greene – Intentional (Live) at Philly Album Release

Travis Greene performing with the Kingdom Life Church praise team at Philly album release for “The Hill”

Trying to get the words to Travis Greene’s (@travisgreenetv) catchy single, Intentional, out of my head has been quite the task since attending his Philly album release. Yes, it’s pretty tough to not want to be reminded that regardless of the issues you are facing, that our Father in Heaven has our best interests a heart. Greene’s message seems to be intent on driving that point home (see what I did there?).

I had an opportunity to speak with Travis before the show and get some of his thoughts on the new album, diversity in Gospel music, and some of the artists he’s currently listening to:

Kingdom Life Church in Philadelphia was packed to the walls with worshippers waiting for what proved to be a moving night of music and inspiration. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as Anton Milton took the stage and lead us all into praise and worship. His distinct high register wasn’t the only sound that permeated the room. Milton and his team masterfully ministered, changing the minds of anyone who came for entertainment to participating in worship.

What I really enjoyed was the diversity in sound that JP Heath brought to the table. Heath took well know songs from both gospel and CCM genres and made them his own. His purity of heart to usher in the essence of G-d’s presence was made very apparent as he lead the attendees with “The Anthem”. It was by this time our hearts and minds were ready for a word; and Pastor Danny Sutton delivered that word with timely precision.

As promised (in the headline), here’s Travis’ live performance of his single “Intentional” from his new album, The Hill:
