Where I Find You – Kari Jobe

I am back again! Just like this week’s featured artist, Kari Jobe. Jobe shares her latest with us titled Where I Find You. Sweet sounds of worship resonate from this project, for lack of better words. There is a new livelier theme to this record. Right from the start Steady My Heart, the first track on the CD, tugs at the strings of your heart as the chorus acknowledges that God steadies our hearts through the ups and downs life takes us all through.

Jobe successfully explores the soft rock genre throughout this album. We Are, Savior’s Here, and Find You on My Knees are perfect examples of this, strong guitar strums and brawny drum beats that work extremely well with the engaging melodic vocals. The lyrics praise and worship simultaneously,  dancing between conversations with Christ ,exalting His love and encouraging other believers, reminding us that we are to be the light in the dark world. Where I Find You is a twelve track worship affair. With songs like What Love Is This and Here you cannot help but to fall madly in love with Christ.

There is one feature, Matt Maher, on We Exalt Your Name a harmonious adoration tune that speaks of longing for Christ. Also included in the purchase of this LP, for your viewing pleasure, are videos to Find You on My Knees and Here, two of my favorite songs on the project. Overall, I love this record. Whenever a project can accompany you in to the presence of Christ, it is a winner! If you ask me, I would say purchase this CD. It is everything without being too much.
